Justin Bieber Shares Ed Sheeran-Penned Tune ‘Love Yourself,’ Announces L.A. Gig

Every release Justin Bieber has delivered from Purpose has carried a strong message. For Bieber’s latest, “Love Yourself,” he strums his pain while shooing a no-good lover on the acoustic, Ed Sheeran-penned track.

“My mama don’t like you, and she likes everyone,” Bieber sings on the chorus. “‘Cause if you like the way you looked that much, baby you should go and love yourself.”

There’s also a jazz break with melodic hums from what could be “Confident” collaborator, Chance The Rapper with a trumpet solo from the rapper’s Social Experiment cohort, Donnie Trumpet.

To celebrate his upcoming LP, the recent Billboard cover star also announced a special show in Los Angeles. “An Evening with Justin Bieber” will toast to the release of Purpose and premiere of the dance short film titled Purpose: The Movement. Special guests along are slated to appear at the Staples Center on Friday, Nov. 13, the same day Purpose will undoubtedly break the Internet.
