Just when people thought Iggy Azalea’s music was done, she will be presenting her fans with her new upcoming sophomore album! She revealed the news via twitter and gave some other details on Wednesday (Oct. 7).
The new album is to be called Digital Distortion, Azalea said on Twitter during a casual conversation with fans, correcting one fan to say that “digital distortion is not a song title, its the name of my album.”
Digital Distortion will be Azalea’s second studio record, following her Grammy-nominated The New Classic from 2014, which featured the big hits “Fancy” and “Black Widow.”
She revealed Wednesday that she would be releasing the first single off the set sometime this month as well. She also said she is still working on Digital Distortion and will soon begin asking people for collaborations. The album should be out sometime next year.
Fans caught on and made the connection between her album title and the images she’s been posting to her Instagram as of recent.
