Latin Americans can now be happy because Maroon 5 will be coming your way!
Maroon 5 will be touring Latin America beginning February 2016, with concerts scheduled for Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and Brazil. The 12-stop tour unleashed a frenzy on social media.
In Colombia, where the show is slated for March 3 at Parque Salitre Mágico in Bogotá (capacity 16,000), Adam Levine became a top ten trending topic on twitter. In addition, the online story on Eltiempo.com (Colombia’s biggest daily) announcing the tour had over 50,000 clicks, prompting some to speculate that the venue won’t be big enough to accommodate audiences. This will be Maroon 5’s second visit to Colombia after an eight-year hiatus, when they weren’t nearly as well-known.
In Mexico, Maroon 5 will play three shows: At Auditorio Banamex in Monterrey Feb. 26, VFG Arena in Guadalajara Feb. 28 and at Foro Sol in Mexico City — capacity 26,000 — March 1.
Following the Mexico shows, the group will head down to Colombia, Argentina, Chile, and finally to Brazil, where they’ll play in seven cities.
