Just when everything was all good! The Love & Hip Hop New York Mendeecees Harris has pleaded guilty within the U.S District Judge Frank Geraci Jr. Harris pleads guilty after admitting he was involved in a drug trafficking operation that between 2005 and 2012 shipped cocaine and heroin to the Rochester region.
“Mendeecees also turns over money from his television show and paid appearances. He’s paid after every episode airs. That money, which the federal government will keep, has totaled more than $103,000, said his attorney Donald Thompson.
Harris faces up to a sentencing of 8 to 10 years and/or $15,000 to $5 million bail, along with parole for four or five years.
Mendeecees’ co-defendants Ronald Walker, and Mendeecees Harris’ brother Tyrus Harris, previously pleaded guilty to their roles in the case. Ronald is serving 10 years in federal prison.
Judge Geraci agreed to allow Mendeecees Harris to remain free on bail until his sentencing, which is scheduled for 31st August at 3 pm.
Mendeecees and his fiancée, Yandy Smith, will be getting married on live television next month on Love & Hip Hop Live: The Wedding. Once the case is resolved, the bail will be returned to those who put up money and property for Mendeecees’ release.
