Kanye West Scores 22nd R&B/Hip-Hop Top 10 Hit With ‘All Day’

Kanye West lands his 22nd top 10 single on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart as his latest effort, “All Day,” arrives at No. 6. The track, which features Theophilus London, Allan Kingdom and Paul McCartney, is the latest single from his forthcoming album So Help Me God.

“All Day” arrives with 140,000 downloads sold in the week ending March 8, according to Nielsen Music, also topping Rap Digital Songs. It’s West’s first No. 1 debut on that five-year-old list and second No. 1, following “Clique” (in 2012).

“All Day” was streamed 1.9 million times in the U.S. during the tracking week, with the bulk of clicks (87 percent) stemming from Spotify. A video for the track reportedly premiered during Paris Fashion Week on March 7, but has not yet been officially released online.

The track also opens at No. 14 on Rap Airplay, logging 11.8 million audience impressions, to take the Hot Shot Debut with Greatest Gainer honors. It’s the third-highest entrance for West (of his total 43 charted tracks) and best since 2011 when “Otis” (with Jay Z and featuring Otis Redding) debuted at No. 13.

“All Day” is the second top 10 hit for West in 2015, following the current No. 1 “FourFiveSeconds” with Rihanna and McCartney.
