Patch Culbertson has been promoted to director of A&R at Republic Records, where he’s worked since 2009. Culbertson previously served as the company’s A&R manager, signing and developing a slew of acts including The Naked & Famous, SoMo and Viv and the Revival. He also played a key role in signing country hit makers Florida Georgia Line to Republic Nashville, and he worked on several soundtracks for films including Ted and Snow White & the Huntsman.
“Patch’s hunger to uncover new talent makes him crucial to the A&R department,” said Rob Stevenson, the label’s executive vice president. “He is also a valuable member of an executive team tasked with adapting to the fast-changing digital landscape.”
